Craftsmanship

Each piece of Ollie Pearls jewelry is finished by hand at our studio in Bergen, Norway. Freshwater pearls are matched by hand for lustre, tone, and nacre depth before assembly. Where the design calls for it, pearl strands are hand-knotted on silk between every single pearl, the traditional method that protects both the nacre and the thread. We work in 925 sterling silver, 18k gold-plated sterling, and solid 18k recycled gold: materials chosen to age gracefully with everyday Nordic life.

Materials & pearls

This Ollie Pearls design is composed with Grey Moonstone, Freshwater Pearl and 18K gold-plated S925, selected at our Bergen studio. Measurements, clasp details, and specifications appear in the product panel. To protect nacre and silk thread: wipe pearls after wear, avoid perfume, hairspray, and chlorine, and plan periodic restringing for knotted strands.
